Advice and Warnings Empty Advice and Warnings

o;

Misery and I have had a few interesting ideas and tips about the game. Advice and warnings.

Let's get things started, hey?

***

1.: skill up as fast as you can. At lvl 2 you can get the second attack skill already.

2.: Keep an eye on the element of the enemy. most magic using monsters and some non-magic using monsters can reflect damage of their element. it can hurt like a bastard. half health in one shot is a possibility.

3.: Hit and run. harassing tactics work great if you can slow or paralyze the enemy. Hit them, slow them down, put them on fire or shock them wildly, then bail, to a safe distance. repeat as often as necessary. Never be hit either. Just stay in its patrol area, else all you've done is for naught.

4.: pick your foe wisely. Some give more xp than others. keep an eye on the different statuses of the enemy; movement speed increase, magic enhanced, life risking attack and hp increased monsters = loads of xp and more chance for nifty drops. Avoid attack enhanced (and defense enhanced if you are physical ranged attack) since it is not worth the risk.

5.: pick up loot. even othe r people's loot. A lot of people dirty up our world with gold and items. Be a kind person and pick them up and sell the refuse on. 800 a feather, 300 per fdeepstyx fur, 1 per single arrow and so forth.

if you can pick it up, it's free game. the game protects the items for a set time, or until the player is out of sight. So if they don't grab it, then you can.

Easy cash? Go in with only bare necessities to farm for yourself. pick up _everything_ Then select when inventory grows too full, or go and sell.

More might come forth. Questions? Suggestions? post them here.

if people want, we can work on other classes or melee general too.
